Since 2013, Independence Home Therapy has been contracting with home health agencies to provide their physical, occupational and speech therapy needs. The road to recovery can be difficult, but with the assistance of Independence Home Therapy you are on the right path. Our dedicated staff members work one-on-one with their clients to restore independence and the ability to complete day to day activities.
Recovering from home after surgery can limit you with your daily activities. Our physical therapists are experienced in treating a wide range of diagnoses. From orthopedic recoveries, balance, gait training, wheelchair assessments and home modifications, our PT's will assist you every step to ensure safety and comfort to gain back that independence within the home.
From activities of daily living to fine motor tasks, our occupational therapists are there to help regain strength and independence with the challenges that can arise. The OT's are beyond compassionate and patient and will work with nursing and family to assist in the successful progress while at home.
Our speech therapists provide care in areas of memory issues, speech and communication and difficulty swallowing. They work very well with the doctor to ensure the correct diet is being followed for safety and that caregivers are educated as well.
